Yes, but for the licence sold with the laptop, you pay 259 dollars for windows 11 pro while I can get a legal windows 10 pro activation key for less than 10 dollars (https://www.darty.com/nav/achat/ref/MC345011857.html) from a second-hand reseller separately and use an official MS image to install the OS yourself.
I didn't check for any instructions from the framework laptop to setup dual boot, it's pretty standard and there is no trap specific to the framework. Of course, the usual problems with dual booting windows with secure boot apply, but that's the case on all machines.
"Plus, I get to save money on the Windows licence and start with a crapware-free install. Win-Win."
Won't you still need a Windows licence for the dual boot system?
Are there licences and instructions from framework to set up a dual boot system?
Thank you for your review of the laptop!
Best
